How it works

From plan to verdict in three steps

No sign-up, no waiting. Add your plan and read the verdict.

1

Add your plan

Paste the text, drop a txt or PDF, or upload photos of your plan. Several days at once is fine.

2

Get your score

We score muscle coverage, weekly volume, frequency, progression and recovery against the training evidence.

3

Read the verdict

A coach-style verdict explains what is strong, what is weak and the one thing to fix first.

The method

What we measure, and why it matters

Every score comes from the same evidence-based rules, not an opinion. The same plan always gets the same verdict.

Muscle coverage

We map every exercise to a major muscle group (legs, back, chest, shoulders, arms and core) and check nothing is skipped.

Plans that quietly drop legs or back build imbalances and raise injury risk. A good plan trains the whole body across the week.

Weekly volume

We add up the hard working sets each muscle gets per week.

Growth scales with volume up to a point, roughly 10 to 20 hard sets per muscle per week. Far below barely moves the needle; far above just piles on fatigue.

Muscle balance

We compare how much volume each trained group gets against the others.

Even with everything covered, hammering chest while legs run on scraps builds strength and physique imbalances that catch up with you.

Intensity

We read any effort cues you give: reps in reserve, RPE, percentages of your 1RM, or "to failure".

Hard sets near failure drive growth. Light, submaximal work like 5x10 at half your 1RM barely counts, no matter how many sets. No effort cues means we cannot fully judge it.

Progressive overload

We look for a progression scheme, adding weight, reps or RPE over time.

Without progressive overload your body has no reason to adapt, and results stall within a few weeks.

Training frequency

We check how often each muscle is trained per week.

For the same weekly volume, hitting a muscle about twice a week beats once.

Recovery

We check the week leaves real room to recover.

Muscle is built during recovery. Training every day with no rest raises injury and burnout risk without extra gains.

These are the thresholds strength-training research points to, and the bar our own coaching plans have to clear.

This tool gives general, evidence-based feedback on training structure. It is not medical advice. If you have injuries or health conditions, talk to a qualified professional.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is the workout plan check free?

Yes, completely free and no sign-up. Paste or upload your plan and get an instant, evidence-based score.

What does it check?

Muscle coverage, weekly volume, training frequency, progressive overload and recovery. These are the factors that decide whether a plan actually builds muscle and strength.

How is the score calculated?

Deterministically, against published strength-training evidence: roughly 10 to 20 hard sets per muscle per week, training each muscle about twice a week, and progressive overload. The same plan always gets the same score, with no random opinions.

Can I upload a screenshot or PDF?

Yes. Paste text, drop a txt or PDF, or upload photos, including several photos of a multi-day plan at once. JPG, PNG and WebP are all supported.

Do you store my plan?

We store the plan anonymously to improve the tool and to show how plans compare. There is no account and it is never shared.
